Join Awake Minds and Backcountry Yoga for a morning of rejuventation, connection, and beauty on Mt. Agamenticus Mountain, York, ME!

*30 minute hike up/ down mountain (beginners welcome)
*75 minute outdoor yoga + meditation class
*Guided discussion and time for snacks (sweet vegan+ gluten free treats provided)

*yoga mat/ back pack to bring mat

5:30-6:30 pm - Good Karma Integrative Yoga will be offering a FREE Yoga Flow class on the Waterfront Park (by the stage on the boardwalk).

Erica Marcus, MAT, is a certified Mindful Schools Instructor and Kripalu Yoga Teacher. She pursued Mindful Schools training after years of teaching at a high performing charter middle school in Washington, D.C.  She has over 15 years of experience working with young people as a mindfulness educator, classroom teacher, outdoor educator, and senior wilderness youth therapy field staff member. Erica now offers mindfulness programming for students and teachers throughout New England. She also has developed workshops and curriculum around issues of screen dependency. In her free time, she paints, writes, hikes, runs, surfs, and eats ice cream. Meghan Dutton lives in Newburyport, MA and currently works as a special educator, certified yoga instructor, and certified Mindful Schools mindfulness educator in schools throughout Massachusetts. She has worked with youth for the past ten years as an educator, yoga teacher, mindfulness facilitator, and staff member of Inward Bound Mindfulness Education (iBme) teen retreats. Her work has incorporated mindfulness practices in elementary, middle, and high school classrooms, along with leading Professional Development in schools on mindfulness in education. She is passionate about bringing mindfulness tools to the lives of families, schools, educators, and youth.
